Thirsty?

The Town Crier is a popular meeting spot for the German community in Toronto. They have a wide selection of German beers and even some typical German food. My husband and I have attended a couple of German meet-up events here. It's a good way to make sure our German isn't getting too rusty and it's fun to meet new people too!

Beautiful shot, Hal! Love this kind of photo!

Can't say I've met too many rusty Germans. Oh, wait, you were talking about the language! :-)

Re the sheriff's golf cart...I have a feeling that it might be used in parades in various town throughout Marion County...but don't know for sure.

This is an absolutely beautiful photo, and it looks like a wonderful meeting place. I hope you offer the picture to the bar for them to use in their publicity. (I took a couple of years of German in high school but I am very, very rusty . . . time to brush up, maybe.)

I hate the new word verification. Since I have trouble reading those "words", I am assuming others do too.
